Valuable Claims Resources for Agents and Customers

As agents, you play a pivotal role in keeping your customers informed and supported throughout the claims process. To help elevate the claims experience for both you and your customers, we offer a variety of resources and tools. Let’s take a look at two key options.




First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Summary Emails

Stay up to date on customer claims with FNOL summary emails. These emails provide important details immediately after a claim is reported, helping you to support your customers more effectively. If you’d like your agency to receive these updates, simply email LicensingSpecialist@westfieldgrp.com with the following information:

  • Agency Name
  • Agency Code
  • Group Email Address (one email address per agency code)

Claims Progress and Activity Updates 

Easily access select claims progress information, activity updates, and notes using the Claims Inquiry Tool within AWP. Follow these steps to get started: 

  1. Go to the AWP homepage and open the Tools menu. Select Claims Inquiry/Loss Runs for Policies
  2. Search for the claim and click on View Claim.
  3. Navigate to the Progress and Activity bar to view status updates and additional notes.

Note: Claim notes and statuses are not currently available for workers’ compensation claims but are being considered for future updates. Additionally, notes of claims closed before September 2024 are not available.

Key Benefits for Your Customers 

Our claims resources aren’t just for agents — we also have options available to customers through the MyWestfield® online portal. We will be reaching out to customers directly to highlight specific features and their benefits, including:  

  • Insight into Claim Activity: Customers will receive valuable updates on their claims, keeping them informed and engaged.
  • Expedited Process: Our self-service features will help expedite the claims process, getting customers back on track faster.
  • Seamless Submission: The digital claims submission process is streamlined and intuitive, helping to ensure all necessary details are captured.  

How You Can Support Adoption 

To help support this initiative and connect your customers to a better claims experience, we encourage you to promote sign-ups for MyWestfield. Here’s how we make it easy:

  1. Visit AWP and search for a customer’s policy summary.
  2. Review the MyWestfield registrations at the bottom of the policy summary.
  3. If they do not have a registered MyWestfield account, you can instantly send them an email invitation to sign up — just click the button!
