When an accident happens, a registered nurse will help assess your injured worker’s needs via the 24/7 workers’ comp nurse hotline. Our hotline is staffed with skilled, bilingual registered nurses who provide comprehensive support, including:

  1. Evaluating an injured worker’s symptoms and injury.
  2. Determining an injured worker’s medical situation and best treatment option.
  3. Coordinating and communicating with a network medical provider.
  4. Reporting the workers’ compensation claim to Westfield.
  5. Following up with the injured worker 24-48 hours after the initial call to help make sure they are getting the recommended care.
  6. Sending documents to help the worker with post-appointment communication and to get back to work.
