Westfield Announces Jennifer Palmieri as Chief People Officer
WESTFIELD CENTER, OH — August 18, 2020 — With a dedicated focus on Westfield’s most important asset – the Westfield Team – Jennifer Palmieri joins Westfield as Chief People Officer. In this new leadership role, Jennifer will advocate for employees and the company, ensuring employees are supported and empowered to make a positive difference in the lives of customers.
With more than 20 years of extensive human resources leadership experience, Palmieri is leading all aspects of Westfield’s talent management strategy, people related practices and the HR team. She serves as a critical leader on the Enterprise Leadership Team, driving a tight integration between Westfield’s business strategies and talent management capabilities, with a strong focus on building diversity across the workforce and ensuring an inclusive culture.

Prior to joining Westfield, Palmieri spent nearly 18 years at Cigna, a global health services company, where she most recently served as Vice President of HR with the global technology team. Early in her career at a boutique HR consulting firm, Jennifer delivered talent solutions across a variety of companies with a focus on the technology sector. Her career experiences include:
- Building diverse high performing, highly engaged teams to support business objectives.
- Developing comprehensive culture and talent strategies that create competitive differentiation.
- Leading large-scale digital change management initiatives domestically and internationally.
- Crafting strategic alliances and partnerships to meet in-demand skills and capabilities.
- Integrating all aspects of human resources in complex acquisitions with benchmarked retention rates.

Jennifer received a B.S. in Business Administration from Drexel University and a M.S. in Human Resource Development from Villanova University. She participated in executive HR strategy and organizational dynamics education at Cornell University and Insead University in Fontainebleau, France. She is also a Society of Human Resources (SHRM) Senior Certified Professional.
