Kathy Golovan
Kathy Golovan joined Westfield in 2022. She serves as the Company’s Chief Administrative Officer where she has responsibility for Claims, Customer Service, Information Technology, Government Relations, Internal Audit, Enterprise Legal, Procurement, Information Security, Data and Analytics, General Services and Hospitality. In this role she ensures accountability and overall execution of corporate capabilities and functions that contribute to the company’s success. The role ensures these capabilities and functions are aligned with the corporate and competitive business strategies, and deliver tangible value to Westfield through customer growth, improved financial performance and greater risk insight.
Kathy joined Westfield after almost 24 years at Medical Mutual of Ohio, an Ohio health insurance company where she held many roles during her tenure. She was most recently Chief Health Officer, but also held the roles of Chief Information Officer, Vice President and General Auditor and Director of Legal Affairs and Assistant General Counsel.
Kathy is a licensed attorney and certified internal auditor. She earned her undergraduate degree at the College of Wooster and her JD at Case Western Reserve University. She currently serves on the board of Business Volunteers Unlimited, In Counsel and serves on the Corporate Visiting Committee at Case Western Reserve University. She has participated in Cleveland Bridge Builders and Leadership Cleveland. Golovan has won many awards during her career including Corporate College’s Smart 50 Business Leaders, Ohio Diversity Council’s Most Powerful and Influential Woman Award, Crain’s CIO of the year, Diversity Magazine’s Women Worth Watching and Crain’s 40 Under 40.
