Jennifer Souza

As Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Westfield, Jennifer leads the company’s Global Legal function, including the Office of General Counsel and the enterprise Privacy Department. An experienced executive and tenured attorney, she brings deep expertise in insurance, legal risk, and compliance.

Over her 18-year career at Westfield, Jennifer has held multiple leadership roles, most recently serving as Managing General Counsel, overseeing enterprise legal operations and a diverse network of outside counsel. She has also served as the company’s cybersecurity and privacy attorney, Associate General Counsel, and Assistant General Counsel, managing corporate litigation and optimizing legal operations.

Under Jennifer’s leadership, the legal team has driven major strategic initiatives, including the launch of Westfield’s domestic Specialty lines business in 2021 and the successful acquisition of a Lloyd’s of London Syndicate in 2023. She continues to expand the legal team’s capabilities to support Westfield’s growing portfolio of companies in the U.S. and internationally.

Before joining Westfield, Jennifer practiced at a large Northeast Ohio law firm, advising insurance companies on coverage and regulatory matters.

A native of Akron, Ohio, and graduate of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from John Carroll University with a double major in History and Political Science. She received her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
