Personal Coverage

My daughter plays clarinet in the school orchestra; she's quite serious about it so we bought her the best clarinet we could afford - and she loved it, until it fell out of the case, hit the floor and shattered. I promised her that we would get a new one, that our homeowner's insurance policy would cover the cost to replace the instrument. It was an accident, after all. I later found out that to cover events like this I needed to purchase additional coverage for this type of loss.
