Our Businessowners Policy (BOP) is a package policy designed for offices, apartments, retail stores, wholesalers, limited-cooking restaurants, mini-warehouses, and service and processing businesses. 

Liability coverage is included along with property coverage. You can add a number of additional coverages based on the needs of your business.  Your independent agent will work with you to determine what you need to have on your policy.

If you need specialized coverage for your business beyond what the BOP policy offers, we can tailor a commercial package policy to cover your business.

Liability protection included in the BOP:

  • Liability for injury or property loss at your business or as a result of your operations

  • Medical expenses for injuries covered right away (for trips to the emergency room, for example)

  • Watercraft you do not own, size of watercraft up to 50 feet

  • Bail bonds

  • Fire and explosion legal liability

  • Water damage legal liability

  • Voluntary property damage  

  • Property you do not own that is in your care, custody, and control  

  • Automatically covers as ?additional insured? - lessors of premises, manager or lessor of premises, mortgagee assignee/receiver, owners of leased premises, and state or political subdivisions, when required by contract
